We live in an age where success is often expected, rather than earned. Bands assume their musical career to be a cake walk. Every now and then, a gem appears that serves as a reminder that there are still bands willing to work hard to make a name for themselves. Enter: Blindwish. The Dallas, Texas rock band may have formed only a year ago, but they are already making waves. They’ve toured with Palisades, Sylar, and have played the main stage at So What Music Festival two years in a row, alongside Mayday Parade, The Story So Far, Dance Gavin Dance and more.

“Good Excuses” is Blindwish’s debut album, and it is sure to catch the attention of new listeners. These ten songs use all the right hooks to keep you singing along for days. The band worked with producer extraordinaire John Feldmann (Blink-182, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Beartooth) to write the tracks “After Midnight” and “The Maze,” and the end results are incredible. Blindwish are quickly proving their worth and “Good Excuses” is only the beginning.
