This is 1981 and newly signed to ROCKET Records, JOHNNY WARMAN releases his first solo album 'Walking Into Mirrors' for that label which promptly made Top 20 in a number of European countries and sold a respectable 100,000 copies worldwide. Add to that a Top 10 single in Australia with 'Screaming Jets' featuring PETER GABRIEL. A second album followed 'From The Jungles To New Horizons' which sank without a trace due to it's release co-inciding with Elton's label trimming down its operation. Johnny then carried on song writing with artists as diverse as Ringo Star, Starship, Vanity, Prince as well as Asia and House Of Lords. Now Johnny can be found playing live music with no less than two bands- The Mods who recently played at The Steve Marriott Memorial Concert and 4 Bills And A Ben with Rhino Edwards and Jeff Rich from Status Quo. Musicians:-Johnny Warman, Jerry Marotta, John Giblin, Dave Lawson, Larry Fast and Peter Gabriel.
