D.A. Foster is THE REAL THING — a deep blues and R&B singer of the first order. He learned his craft as the young co-owner of the legendary Connecticut roadhouse, the Shaboo Inn (1971-1982), where he booked future rock stars and virtually every major blues artist of the day. These blues legends discovered D.A.’s soulful voice, and schooled him onstage and off. Foster started and led the Shaboo Allstars, with a revolving cast including Matt “Guitar” Murphy and Harvey Brooks. THE REAL thing is timeless music, produced by Foster’s longtime friends Tony Braunagel and Mike Finnigan, featuring their Grammy award-winning Phantom Blues Band, and a few other very special guests.
