This is easily one of the best Soul albums I have ever heard. The tracks were recorded 30 years ago, around the time when the Sales Brothers were scheduled to replace the Blues Brothers on Saturday Night Live. Unfortunately, on the night of their first gig, Tony Sales had a near-fatal car crash that left him in a coma for several months. In 2008, after almost three decades, under Tony's supervision, the original tapes were re-mastered. Hunt and Tony had been recording with David Bowie as Tin Machine; Todd Rundgren on Lust For Life; as well as Iggy Pop and a plethora of other musical greats. This is their first solo album, AND IT ROCKS! Illuminating liner notes by famed groupie Pamela Des Barres tell the story of the Sales Bros. and how this album came to life.
