On July 5th, 1968, The Doors took to the stage of the Hollywood Bowl for a concert that has since passed into legend. The band was performing on the back of their 3rd album release "Waiting For the Sun" and their #1 single "Hello, I Love You." The original film footage has been digitally scanned and restored for better presentation, with 2 previously unreleased tracks and with newly re-mixed sound, mastered from the original multitrack tapes by Bruce Botnick. Bonus material includes "Echoes from the Bowl," memories of the Doors performance, an in-depth look at the restoration project, three bonus performances.
Full-length concert by one of the most popular and notorious groups of the 1960s. By the time The Doors close, they've played nearly every one of their hits. A must for fans.
