Noisehunter was originally called Noise, named after their district town Neuss which is pronounced like the English word, "Noise", but had to change this name due to legal challenges by a formation from Berlin already in possession of this title. Shortly thereafter, Noisehunter recorded a demo at the well known Dierks Studios and finally signed a record deal with GAMA-Records. Their brand of hard rock/metal was a perfect blend of power and precision. Spell of Noise is their second album, originally released in 1986. Noisehunter disbanded in 1997 after having experienced the loss and replacement of Erwin Perle and Mathias Nicklas. Forfans of HEAVENS GATE, SHOK PARIS and early ACCEPT.
