This is the best and worst day of Archer's life. Finally captain of his own gay soccer team - Platoon F.C. - this ex-soldier sees the chance to break boundaries and stereotypes while doing what he loves most: Winning. But his rebellious team has created plenty of distractions at their first game: they've brought along a posse of flamboyant supporters plus his clueless boyfriend has designed a neon pink team uniform. And as if that wasn't enough, who are they up against for this match? Only the notorious Bethnal Reapers - the nastiest team of cheaters in East London. The Bethnal Reapers have their own problems: One more "incident of violent drama" and the Reapers are banned from the league. Their desperate Captain Adam drills his team on the crucial importance of playing a gentlemen's game - unaware that they are up against a panicky gay team who've decided to come out swinging and win this game by any means necessary. The drama escalates at a breathless comic pace until the grand climax: the penalty shoot-out.
